Whitehouse is a small modest village situated on the southwest coast of the island and is approximately 30 km from Savannah La Mar. The local economy strives from fishing; there is the Beeston Spring community tour and the historic Salem Moravian church. Border is known for Fried Fish and Bammy and is located at the Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth border. There is the Sandals Whitehouse All-inclusive hotel and spa, which is a very popular island destination for visitors to the shores of Jamaica. Culloden forms part of the upper middle income residential community in Whitehouse with the Police Station within very close proximity, pharmacies, petrol station, supermarket, shops, market, schools, hardware hairdressers, barbers and a number other places which are easily accessible.
