About

I entered the Real Estate Industry in 2001 and I have been passionately working in that industry for the past 20 years.   I am currently a Director of The Realtors Association of Jamaica (RAJ) and Vice Chairman of the Membership Committee and I have been recently awarded the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) which allows me to operate within the Global Sphere. I am the founder of Benjamin’s Realty Services Ltd

After leaving The University of the West Indies with my B.A in hand, I worked at Air Jamaica Ltd, Pulse Investment and Jamaica Lottery Company before turning to the business of Real Estate.  My success is attributed to my passion for people realizing their dream and having an understanding of the psychology of buying and selling.

I earned the Rookie of the Year in 2001 and the Top Producer 2006 while I was at the Century 21 Heave Ho Properties.  I later joined the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Family, where I was the Sales Manager of JN Real Estate Company and later in 2007, I was appointed the Sales Manager for Jamaica National Building Society.  At Jamaica National I created innovative programs such as the JNBS Realtors Affiliate Program which connected Mortgage Sales Representatives to Realtors and other industry players and deepened the relationship between JNBS and local housing developers by expanding the JNBS Developers Program.  I also assisted in conceptualizing and implementing the JN Real Estate Expo held in the UK in 2008 and in developing and marketing a series of high interest rate products The Pioneer Club, which boosted the organisation's net savings intake  immensely.

I am a charismatic, straight forward leader with a spirit of compassion and loyalty, who believes that we are God's hands and feet on this earth.  I have always been a part of giving back to the institutions that have shaped me, starting with the St. Hugh’s Preparatory School PTA where I served in many capacities including the President of the PTA and as a  mentor at St Hugh’s High School, my alma mata.

I joined  the Wolmer's Boys School Family where I served in numerous capacities and the St Andrews Family where I moved from being a Class Representative, to  PTA Executive, Vice President and the President of the PTA.   During that period, the 1st Form block, the Guidance Counselling Building and the School Library were restored.  I have been involved in the UWI Mona Mentorship Program, on the Guild of Graduates Mona Campus.

As a follower of Christ I believe it is our responsibility to improve the lives of those around us and to make a positive impact on the environment one finds oneself in; I now give my time to serve at Transformed Church (TLC), where I am involved in the Reception Ministry and the Prayer Ministry.

I am a lover of sports and enjoys a good “oldies” party, going to the movies and lyming with friends.  I am proudest in being a mother of my two children Gabrielle and Cristian Benjamin.
